About us

P/F Eysturoy is a company specialized in the operation of fishing vessels, and currently owns and operates four longliners; Eysturoyingur, Sigmund, Morgunstjørnan and Mascot. The company was founded on August 1st 1999 by Jóhannus Martin Olsen and Petur Bjørnson. The name, P/F Eysturoy, comes from the first longliner that Jóhannus and Petur owned; Eysturoyingur. Since then they have developed and expanded their company and three other longliners have come to sail under P/F Eysturoy. Sigmund in 2002, Morgunstjørnan in 2005 and Mascot in 2007.

The company also offers an sorting and packing service, with the goals to provide an efficient, fast and cheap service.
